January 3, 2016
It’s the start of a new year, which brings with it the opportunity to make big changes. New Years resolutions are always popular at the beginning of a new year, and along with changing one’s diet, typically comes resolutions to clear out one’s closet.
I focus on my wardrobe and my closet often. So this year, I’m going to follow in the footsteps of youlookfab.com and focus on me instead.
My style resolutions are simple. Instead of focusing on changing me, I’m going to set my sights on appreciating me as I already am:
- Accept the body I have and dress for the body I have
- Adhere to one in/one out for my wardrobe
- Enjoy the clothes that I have, instead of focusing on the clothes that I don’t have
It’s not a long list, but hopefully one that I will remember in three, six or even twelve months from now. After all one of the biggest problems with new years resolutions, is adhering to them as the year passes.
Do you have any style resolutions?
